Nostalgia

After being coerced by an advert for the revival of Sonic The Hedgehog "mega collection" on PS2, I succumbed and purchased the darn game today.

Hoping to revive those days of playing with my super cool "I'm the only kid on the street who has one" sega megadrive, I was amazed at just how addictive the bloody game is even now, some 14 years later!

See, despite the crap graphics (by today’s standards), not so tricky to kill bad guys and just the simple task of collecting rings, I've still managed to waste a good hour this evening pretending I'm 15, sitting on my bedroom floor eating cheese and onion crisp sandwiches and ignoring my sister who is stuffing fag ends down the radiator.
