The fine art of origami?!
As well as it being April Fools Day, Phil and I have something else to celebrate - we've been seeing each other for a year today! So exactly one year ago we were standing in a car park outside a cinema having just watched a film and I bit the bullet and gave him a kiss... and from there on its been wonderful :)
So according to tradition (well if we were married) the presents we should get on a one year anniversary is paper... in a world of email and internet you have to wonder how useful it is, but none the less, its paper. For those of you with interest, the other presents you get on anniversaries are as follows:-

- 3rd: leather
- 4th: linen

- 7th: copper
- 8th: bronze
- 9th: pottery
- 10th: tin or aluminium
- 11th: steel

- 13th: lace
- 14th: ivory
- 15th: crystal
- 20th: china
- 25th: silver
- 30th: pearls
- 35th: coral or jade
- 40th: rubies
- 45th: sapphires
- 50th: gold
- 55th: emeralds
- 60th: diamonds

It's nice that you have mentioned your 1 year anniversary, though having looked at Phils' diary from last year, it would appear that you don't get a mention for weeks after you first date!
