Ladies Wot Lunch

You can't beat a baguette in a beer garden
Off out today to meet up with a friend for some lunch, so I have to be up, ready and out of the house by 11 am to make sure I get to where I'm going on time.
The trip there was a doddle, no problems on the roads to mention, the only slightly annoying thing was that the wind was up a bit, making driving in a straight line somewhat difficult in places (especially when speeding past great big HGVs). None the less when I get to my destination, the wind had dropped and the sun is out.
We don't wander that far from my friends house, but do go to the local pub for lunch, and the weather was so good infact we were able to sit out in the beer garden and enjoy the rather warm sunshine whilst eating some really good food - all very enjoyable :)
After lunch I head off over to visit another friend who lives practically on my way home, and we meet up with another ex-coworker who I've not seen since she was 8 months pregnant. Well now she's not pregnant and has baby in tow and we all have a good old catch up on what everyone has or in my case, has not, been doing :)

Friday the 13th, your not so lucky day, punk!
I finally get back on the road at around 6.15 pm which ultimately was a wise move on my part since it was just late enough to miss the rush hour and I get home at around 7.30 pm.
So after a rather nice day, it seems it all went a bit pair shaped thereon-in. I get home to find out that some all too efficient system administrator has wiped out my email account that I have used since I first got hooked up to the internet (some 11 years or so ago) and theres no possibility of me having it back. So I spend a good part of the evening trying to remember all the places / websites / services / people who may well have my old email address and updating them with the new one - oh how exciting that was...
With that done, and it being late, and for the fact I didn't get anything out for tea because I was out of the house all day we decide to get Dominos for tea - which was great, except they forgot half of my order. I realize as soon as I've closed the door on the delivery man that something is missing and duly chase after the geezer and tell him to which he tells me he'll "Nip back and get the dunkers".

"Express Delivery!" - not.
30 minutes later still no bloody dunkers, so I ring the store. Although they were only £3.95 or something it really was the principle of the thing. I mean we'd ordered and paid for 4 things and only got 3, and to add insult to injury the delivery man is probably a thief and also a liar.
Anyway, eventually the dunkers turn up, not that I really felt like eating them at 10.10 pm but hey, why not add some indigestion into the equation as well ;)
Friday the 13th's - dontcha love them? :)
