Steaming Ahead

Today with little else to do and nothing remotely important on the agenda we decided to expore our local patch a bit more and see what it has on offer in terms of touristic attractions.

It wasn't long before Phil tracked (excuse the pun) down The Buckinghamshire Railway Centre not too far from us so we decided to pay it a visit.

I have to say, the Centre is located at the arse end of nowhere, and you'd have to really want to go, or having done some investigation to know it actually exists, but it was a worth while trip all the same.

We saw lots of cool train "things" and had a ride on a proper steam train - and of course ate ice cream. It was also quite hot considering the time of year.

Oh well, I'm pretty sure Phil got more out of it than me, but it was more productive than sitting around the house all day :-)
