Beads, Dusters and Loganberries

A Boulevard of Spending...
It's been a busy day today with lots of things happening. The morning is spent doing work and then in the afternoon I go out to run some errands.
First task is to drive up to Bicester and visit the Bicester Avenue shopping complex. They have a number of shops I like and since I wanted to visit HobbyCraft, Lakeland and the huge Wyevale Garden Centre it seemed like a great fit to my requirements!

Colour, colour everywhere...
At HobbyCraft I pick up a load of bits and pieces to add to my craft supplies the cost of which was all nicely covered by the birthday vouchers Agnese had got me.
Next stop was Lakeland where I spent an insufferable amount of time drooling over the numerous household gadgets that were on sale. I eventually pulled myself out of the consumer coma and left with the telescopic duster I had intended on getting along with a smaller one for Phil to dust his train set with.
Finally I ventured into the garden centre and managed to find even more Elan strawberry plants so I picked up an additional 3 to plant. With "infinite spread" we should have a fine crop next year! There were no raspberry canes but they did have a loganberry one, so I got that as well in the hope that it will do as well as the raspberries.
Whilst I was trundling towards the checkout I was shocked to discover that they were stocking the shelves with Christmas decorations ALREADY! I thought it bad enough that I'd seen Halloween stuff in Sainsburys the day before, but this really was taking the Yule tide log.
When I get home Phil arrives shortly after and we head on out to the Gym to do our intensive workout which knackers me completely. Luckily tea is simple enough and we catch a semi early night.
